Snowstorms and Truth

  The world passes white
Before my eyes.
Sight is burdened by
Snowy lies.

Still, I trudge on
Through blinding flakes.
Seeking the truth
Living mistakes.

In time it will clear
The snow will be gone.
I'll see for myself
The right and the wrong.

That is my hope.
That is my prayer.
When I come to the end
I'll find truth there.

In Luxembourg when you come to the end (of the snow) it would start raining... :)
God bless you!

Dear Jacob,
I understood everything in english.
Profound poetry : your hope and your prayer are mine ("seeking the truth"). I like too Olivier's photo.

I do think that finding the truth is our hope. MB

I'm not sure if it's possible to find the truth, but let's hope one day we'll find it!
Beautiful words, and the photo is terrific:)

Quest for truth would be the meaning of our life. It’s a hard and long way because of our blurred or biased view, though I think truth must be simple not complicated. Sometime I think truth lies in where it is unspoken. I like the description “Sight is burdened by snowy lies” and “Still, I trudge on through blinding flakes.”

I hope Lois is on the way to healing day by day and you are restoring peace of mind.
